Making Faces Turns 10

The cutest place in town just turned 10!



Amazing giveaways and awesome swag bags...



 And, as a "thank you" to their customers, each lady was treated to a make-up session with a Stila pro!  I'm not one to wear a ton of make-up so it was really cool to have someone make me up for the day.  Zoe, if you're out there, you rock!  Congrats, Making Faces!!  10 years- quite the accomplishment!

Paleo Cinnamon Cookies

Think Snickerdoodle...  YUM!

1/4 C maple syrup
1/4 C coconut oil, melted
1 egg
1/2 t vanilla
1 and 1/2 C almond meal
1 T cinnamon
1 t nutmeg
1 t cocnut flour, sifted
1/2 t baking soda
1/4 t salt

Heat oven to 350
Mix wet ingredients and set aside
Mix dry ingredients
Add wet ingredients to dry and mix well
Chill dough in fridge for 1 hour
Roll into balls and press down
Bake for 10 minutes
Enjoy!

Pumpkin Smoothie

I found this recipe perusing the Lululemon blog.  Modified slightly.

Pumpkin Smoothie

1/2C pumpkin puree
1C vanilla almond milk (I like this one)
1/2 frozen banana
2T raisins
nutmeg and cinnamon to taste

Put all ingredients in blender and mix until smooth.
