Rainy Day Surprise

A while ago I entered a giveaway hosted by At Home When Im With You.  The talented Katie was giving away one of her Pom Pom Scarfs.  And guess who won?!  ME!!!!!

Yesterday I arrived home (soaked to the gills) to find this lovely package in the mail.  The scarf is soooo soft and the perfect pop of color!  It was just the pick-me-up I needed on such a dreary day.  I can't wait to wear it!  Thanks again, Katie!

Gardening 101

It was a gorgeous weekend!  I hope you all got out and enjoyed the warm temps and bright sun!  I spent some time this weekend cleaning up the flower beds at my house.  Since I just moved in this December and the beds were devoid of any plant life, its been fun watching things sprout this Spring.  So far... crocus, daffodils, tulips and lilacs have made an appearance.  Annnnd more hostas than I think are necessary for one household.

 But since I can't bear to dig them up just yet, I found a few bare spots that could use some sprucing up.  A few herbs, annuals and fresh mulch makes all the difference!  (I should have closed the garage door before snapping this photo!)

In addition to the anti-age regimen, I'm also loving the lip micro-dermabrasion.  Rough, dry, scaly lips no more!



Annnd the micro-dermabrasion paste.  Lovely citrus smell and leaves your skin feeling oh. so. soft.
