Sand Sculptures

Hampton Beach has a 25 year history of sand sculpting and it's still going strong!  What started as a commission to create a larger than life replica of the NH state quarter out of 10 tons of sand, is now an invitation only, world class event with a purse of $15,000 and 150 tons of sand.  So if you're in the area this weekend, you have got to check this out!!

Market Square Day

Saturday is Market Square Day.  One of my favorite days of the year!



The day begins with a 10K road race through the streets.  (My house sits right on the course and I can't wait to cheer those runners on!)



After the race everyone heads to the town square for a day full of live music, street vendors and people watching.



And maybe a treat or two.  Fingers crossed for sun and warm temps!
